Mods: Working half the number of stitches called for in the pattern for the 21” size at a gauge of 1.5sts/inch to accommodate the Jumbo yarn.

After having my son try the hat on I frogged it because the ribbing was too tight and apparently Jumbo yarn isn’t as stretchy. So I’m redoing the hat only on size 17 needles instead of doing the ribbing on size 15 needles. I’m also adding icord tail at the top.
