Originally started another pattern: a zigzag vest. But I didn’t like the pattern or doing the stitch. I loved this sweater, so I’m doing it again as a vest.

I’m fudging the numbers a bit because I’m using a DK weight instead of a worsted weight. It should come out at about the 4 yr old size.

I’m also changing the construction since I didn’t like the provisional cast on at the center back. I’m going to make it a top down knit with a seam at the shoulders.

I really like how the sweater turns out, but I don’t like how the pattern is written. I don’t think it’s standardized, which makes some things very difficult to interpret.
