Cast on using the cable cast on and decided to do the collar in seed stitch instead of garter.

I’ve decided to switch to the 4T size. No need to start over as the directions for 3T and 4T are the same at the very beginning.

I’ve also realized that I skipped an increase, right at the end of a RS row too. Unfortunately several rows down, but I’ve decided to try to ladder down and add it in anyways. I kept my edge a bit loose, so I think this might work.

I decided to keep inc the sleeves with the body and to put the sleeves on waste yarn, so I can add the cuffs after separating the sleeves from the body. My stitch count is off by 16 sts here. Hopefully this is what everyone else was talking about when they mentioned the stitch count being incorrect.

I’ve decided, after begging my daughter to try this on, and finally resorting to using a measuring tape on her squirming body, that this is still coming out too small. I’m going to start over.

Unblocked Gauge:
28 sts to 4” and 30 rnds to 3”
7 sts and 10 rnds to 1”

Starting this over. I’m increasing the stitch counts and adding a few details.
