Leg:

Did 5 repeats of lace chart for leg

Heel Flap: (The following mods are because I was a bit confused by the pattern instructions at this point…this is how I worked it out…a little bit different from the pattern, but worked for me.)

Slipped the last Purl st to instep sts instead of knitting it together before starting the heel flap.

Turn Heel:

On 2nd heel turn row, purled 8.

Had 19 heel sts after heel short rows.

Gusset:

Picked up 17 sts along heel flaps. Moving 1 st from 1st heel flap to heel to make that 20. The other heel flap will have 1 extra decrease which I did on the first round after picking up sts. Then knit one end even, then cont. decreases as usual.

Foot:

Kept one extra st on right side of instep. Decreased this extra st on first round of toe decreases by s1, k2tog, psso.

Total lace repeats: 11
