I am using the CM 2/26 in three plies blended with a mohair kidsilk from my stash and the grey mohair is reserved for the border.
Easy, easy scarf and really very wearable.
Mods: When I have finished the increase part I have knitted 8 cms more whitout increases and immediately start the decreases as pattern .
For the border in grey mohair I pick up the sts as pattern but add randomly one sts every 5 cm.
Instead of the short rows indicated in the pattern I did 5 pairs of short rows beginning at 10 cms of the start, 2º at 25 cms, 3º at 45 cm, 4º at 60 cm, 5º at 80 cm.
And about the icord, I have tried first as the pattern, but as my yarn is a little thick I have changed at k1, k2togtbl.
The scarf is 200 cms long and 39 cms wide including the border.
I have used 54 grams of the c/s/m for the body and 6 gas for the icord.
30 grams of the burgundy mohair and 3 grams for the cord.
14 grams of the grey mohair for the border.
