I used
the Argyle in 3 plies and the Potash in 2 plies and the Brume in 1 ply.
I have used for the yoke 30 grams of Potash and 15 grams of brume and I am knitting the body just in stotchinette.
October 16. I have finished the body and the first cone of Argyle color. I have used for the body 145 grams and the remainder 5 grams I have used for the beginning of the left sleeve.
I am planning some mods for the sleeves. The pattern calls for make all the decreases in one row, and continue straight the sleeve until the elastic of the wrist. I will try to do them in a more traditional way.
I started the sleeve with 72 points, as indicated by the pattern for my size and I will try to make two decreases every 8 rows. At the moment I made three and the first two centimeters from the underarm. We will see….
I did 12 decreased rows for each sleeve and I knit the wrist hem with 3,25 mm needle bind off in pattern with a 4.00 mm needle.
Very, very happy with my new sweater, sweet and stylish and not too heavy.
It weigh 240 grams.
