I was looking for a pattern that would use up my wonderfully soft baby alpaca I bought a few years ago. I also needed a dark-colored cardigan in my wardrobe. Tada! Here it is.
Obviously, the dark grey color doesn’t bring out the lovely pattern but the yarn is so soft and warm it will be a cozy cardi for the winter.

I simply followed this perfect pattern’s instructions. I only added an inch to the body and sleeves due to my height. (5’10’’)

I knitted the sleeves using the magic loop technique which is very fast once you get the hang of it. I bought some nice shiny black buttons that were a bit small so I had to shrink the buttonholes accordingly.
