My first try at arigumi, after YEARS of eying them and wondering… and it turns out to be so easy!

My son flicked through the (beautiful) Harry Potter knitting book and surprised me by asking for this creature, to hang over his bed! As I was procrastinating to avoid attacking a potentially difficult sweater (hehe) I took up the challenge and found it so fun and easy. The body and head were perfect entry into the matter. I sew on the parts as I finish them. Stuffed the legs a bit, but not the arms. There was nothing really difficult or fiddly and it went so quick. The face could have been better but the kids likes it as it is, so that’s perfect.
Yarn is some cheap acrylic left overs, and the lighter is from stash too.
