Notes

Sept 11- I liked the thick and thin version of this, but decided to go with what I could find at Joann’s, so I used a bulky, gray, wool-blend roving held together with a strand of plain Jane worsted gray wool. I thought the slight difference in shade added a little depth.

This was quick to knit and all the cables kept it fun. I couldn’t completely zone out as I watched tv and worked on it- that’s a good thing. In fact, once I made it long enough to be a neck warmer ( 5 pattern repeats) I just kept going for a total of 7 times total and it’s more of a scarf now. But it seemed a shame to stop so soon. Now I just need buttons- I’m thinking yellow or orange.

Blogged about it here.
