need for tonight in garish football team colors

I tried five rows of 2x2 rib like rilana’s Stripey Felicity.
the acrylic yarn doesn’t do the pattern justice.

I like it ok for a novelty at playoffs, but I want another in nice, soft yarn, like Rowan cash soft, that’s just stockinette.
