I had 4 skeins in stash so decided to knit a long tubular cowl which will be a Christmas present for my Daughter- in -Law.

Soaking

WOW! it grew 10”, thank goodness I did not do the kitchener stitch first.

I always block it flat before joining up, I had to undo about 4/5 repeats then put sts on cn for joing up.

It’s being blocked flat to about 45”, it may shrink back I don’t know.

When it is dry I will sew the Kitchener stitch.

I was gentle picking it up out of the water so it would not grow, but it still grew a lot.
