This has been the softest wool I have ever knitted with.

Started to knit the scarf, then changed my mind, back to a cowl, then scarf again, then ended up a cowl.

I did get carried away and did my own thing.

Very pleased with the cowl, it is super soft and cosy.

Mods - knitting 1 pattern repeat less of the pinwheel chart to have a narrower scarf.
I had to adjust the width by 1 extra stitch for the lace, with having fewer sts on when it came to the lace section I had 5 extra sts, so I added 1 stitch making that 6 extra sts, and I knitted = 2 repeats of the lace section instead of 3.

My 6 extra sts were knitted like this

pattern 3sts Icord edge - (K1, YO, K2tog, my 3 extra sts), pattern to the last 6sts, then, (K1, YO, K2tog my 3 extra sts), then 3sts Icord edge.

The width is 9.5” (24cm)

There are huge sections of garter stitch, so I have added an eyelet in the middle.

All the yarns are super soft.
