I decided to make it in colors a boy would like too. After all and rocks need somewhere to be put too! Few little changes. On the final round on the pocket and on the flap after being attached I did reverse SC. I also used FHDC as the beginning chain on everything, including the bag. Just personal preference for me. And on the straps I did mirror SC so it lays flatter. Don’t too close, one strap is wrong side out! Oh , and I used surface crochet to attach the pocket to the bag, sliding a cutting board inside so I didn’t stitch into the back also.
