Instead of making the blanket separate and sewing it on, I simply did one of the last rows of the head BLO, and adjusted the stitches of one of the rounds of the blanket so that I could attach the yarn there and work the blanket directly onto the head. I feel it’s much more secure having it directly crocheted on. Just a personal preference but I do it anytime I make a Lovey/Security Blanket.
