Yay! Finished my little ( well not so little actually) Fraise the Mare by @crocsbetty . She stands about 12 inches tall. Paid Pattern but oh so Sweet! I did make a few changes. The hooves are supposed to be made separately and then sewn () in. I avoid sewing when possible so I just continued the leg in hoof color. The eyes are from a free pattern by @pixelsandpins called Eye Appliqué Almond Shaped and is on Ravelry by Ashe. I love safety eyes but sometimes crocheted , even if not for a child, is better. I didn’t like the eyelids so I used a pattern by @jen_olivarez. The nostrils are small black safetyeyes by @glasseyesonline . I also opted to make HDC curly q’s for the hair. Just preferred them over strands hanging. She already knows where she will be moving to when she heads to her new home with @grammyruthann . Be warned Ruthann, as you can tell by her shiny chain she likes bling!!
