This little shawlette is going to be a birthday gift for my wonderful sister-in-law Sharon. Hubby and I are actually going to Nevada for the celebration in the beginning of December. I chose this pattern, because it is pretty yet simple. The yarn is truly luxurious and would make any lace shine. Used size 2 needles all the way till the end of the 8th repetition and then switched to size 3. Will switch to size 4 for the border motif.
I have several other holiday gifts projects going on right now and am in a hurry to finish this one.

All done, just have to block. Ran out of yarn and had to omit the very last section. Used crocheted chain cast-off. Noticed to late that the chain could have been positioned better.. . the loops are off by one stitch. I will post more pictures later.

Finally blocked. Drying now. I got sidetracked with millions of other things to do. Looks great.

I would definitely like to work with this yarn again. I think it is great for light weight summer projects, although it doesn’t look like it has silk in it.

Some of the photos were done indoors with inadequate light. The outside photos more accurately reflect the color of the yarn, which is mix of soft peach and pink.
