Notes

3-Sisters Fade Project. We each purchased 2 hanks of yarn from ESK and split each one 3-ways for a ankle sock knit-a-long. Fun, fun!! I did end up purchasing Georgia subsequent to starting to add as my third color for these socks. This is my first ever fade project. Followed diagram for fade colors. Bees Knees and Georgia had same neutral base, but the speckles look great together.

I’m loving (and my husband, too) these socks .. Scotland Exclusive yarn had so many fun green colors. I will be making a pair for my friend for her birthday.

Pair #2 - Orange: For friend S’rae. Cast-on with size 1 needle and 64 stitches. I started with yarn that arrived today. Wound after dinner and cast on! Pretty discontinued Twist Light in Bicoastal looks so pretty caked. Started with Orange Raspberry and will fade in Bicoastal and Georgia and finish with toe in Orange Raspberry. Excited to see progress.

These socks have been so much fun to make. I am pretty sure I’ll be soon starting another pair for my friend’s daughter who loves p-i-n-k and soon will be 7. I’m thinking madelinetosh twist light in bioluminescent!!

Pair #3 - Blue: For friend Michelle. This set uses odds-ends from other projects. Cast-on 56 stitches on size 1.5 needle.

Pair #4 - finished this morning. Time for another cast-on!

Pair five sock one done today … a little lag time as I had to replace my needle during due to our unattended puppy chewing the cord -- not cool! Thankfully I caught her before she dined on the sock!!
