Added beads between purl bumps 8 and 9 on right hand and 5 and 6 for the left hand from the beginning of the row, beginning with thumb increase rows.

I had to wait for beads. Waiting is the hardest part…

Now that I’ve knit these up, there are a couple changes I’d make. I’d probably either move the beads to 7 and 8 for the right mitt or increase to 7,8,9, and 6 and 7 or 5,6,7 for the left mitt.
