11/20 - My measured size was large but the gauge I got with the fabric I liked was a bit bigger. After doing the math, I was a size medium using large lengths.
This fiber was the first thing I spun on a Hansen mini-spinner and it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. It’s 50/50 silk/merino. I spun it too fast (too much twist) and too thick, then chain plied. I’m thrilled to find what seems to be the perfect pattern for this yarn.

11/26 - I just finished the body. I’m a bit concerned about having enough yarn for the sleeves as written. I’ll knit both sleeves simultaneously so if they wind up as 3/4 length, at least they’ll be identical. ;-)

12/1 - I finished the sweater with 1.5 ounces left. I was surprised I had that much left.

I like this pattern very much and will knit it again. The final photo is the sweater on my daughter. Hmm….looks fantastic on her and is a bit snug on me. Either I need to slim down a bit or I think she’ll gain a new sweater :)
