I am very pleased with the construction and lines of this sweater. I made mine a little long and a size too big.

I’ve put on weight in recent years and I think my self perception is larger than reality. I should have made a gauge swatch, had my measurements taken accurately, and followed the pattern guidelines for fitting.
I’m going to fiddle with some blocking techniques to see if I can snug it up a bit.
I used an abstract button I made myself.

As shown in the photo of me, the sweater turned out a bit too big and the fabric was too loose. I took a chance and fulled it in the washer. I liked the texture much more - more stable, more jacket-like. It was a bit short in the sleeve length but was fine after a vigorous blocking. So, instead of an oversized jacket, I have a slim, fitted jacket that I love.
