This pattern is very interesting. In the diamond lace pattern along the edges, most of the knit stitches in the right-side row above a YO are knit through the back loop to make a twisted stitch. I have not yet encountered this in lace knitting. It seems to me this tightens up that knit column just above the lace pattern, to make things neat and snug.

I am on my 11th repeat of the center section. The pattern said to repeat it 11 times. I don’t think I want to make it longer… even though I have enough yarn… so that will be it.

Picking it up again after a long break. I have done ten repeats, so I will make one more.

I recently picked up this project again after a long break. It’s so pretty; the yarn and pattern are just beautiful. Chart B said to do 11 repeats, but I did twelve. I’ve finished charts B and C. I’ll start chart D today.

Today, I finished the first side, then took out the provisional cast on and started the last part. About 48 rows.

While pinning it out, I found a missed stitch. Thankfully the yarn isn’t slippery, and didn’t run. I started to repair it but it was really fuzzy so I picked it out and retired. I am finally happy with the repair.
