Notes

I liked the look of VickiLL’s Tunisian Box Hat and decided to use similarly fuzzy and self-striping yarn.

I chained 38 to begin, so the brim could be a little wider. I worked 64 rows for the body of the hat, for a 19” circumference. That made for a 16-stitch by 16-row top.

I seamed using 10rowsaday’s method for seaming slip-stitch edges. On the side seam, I reversed her instruction and used the “inside” edges. I seamed the top using the “outside” edge.

The effect was different than VickiLL’s because the color changes here were very long, but the fuzzy yarn makes for a cozy and stylish hat.
