ZigZag Crochet Hat

Added one rnd of no-twist zigzag st for edge trim. Like how this finishes the hat

Crown is spiral rounds

RS of h-hdc, slst rounds crown/body st pattern

I like the WS of the crown/body as well, plainer. Of course the ribbing is identical on both sides.

Detail of ribbing w/ no-twist edge trim.

Slightly larger hat in green. Gold fits me nicely, green fits Bill, but hats are stretchy enough we can both wear either one.

Hat in all-over zigzag. Very stretchy, fits many head sizes. It it too plain/boring?

"Raw" edge of zigzag

Edge trim = zigzag stitch pattern without the hook twists

Experiment: MR, 20 hdc, all inc and sts in ZigZag B & F, incs worked in pairs

hdc3rd-lp is too busy to work well with the texture of Zigzag ribbing.

bottom: about 10 rows worked with turned hook; top: about 6 rows w/o turned hook
