I’m following the pattern as closely as I can. Which made me realise how astonishingly bad I am/have become at following a pattern, wow…

One thing I am changing is the increases, loops instead of kfb. Not bothering for the interior bag.

I changed one thing: turned the inner bag inside out when I got to the point that the tentacles of the outer start, then continued in St st. So the inside of the bag is smoother. In retrospect, this was totally unnecessary ;)
I thought I may have lost a little count and made the inner bag a few rounds longer, but once finished it doesn’t look so much like it.

I received safety eyes a couple of days ago, so set to finish this bag. I blocked it over a 7cm polystyrene ball, which helped with the shape. It felt too small before, but after blocking it is a decent size. Then stitched down the tentacles. The drawstring is black silk.

Added a ton of yellow eyes! they’re different sizes, 9, 12 and 15 mm. I placed 3 big ones (one at the bottom), 4 medium ones and 3 small ones.

If I would change something, it would only be to make a few tentacles a little longer.
