Notes

Well, 3 + years later, this is sweater is finally off the needles and wearable. The fit is pretty good, although I learned to pay more attention to the recommended ease when choosing a size for a pattern. I ended up making the 39 even though I noted here I was making the 42, I think the 42 would have been a better choice given this sweater is supposed to have a relaxed fit. The consistency of the knitting is remarkable given how often I stopped and started this project.

I sourced the beautiful buttons at Churchmouse Yarn on Bainbridge Island -- which is where I picked up some SHELTER for my next BT project. I’m hoping it will come together more quickly than this cardigan.

Re-knit the sleeve and now on to the body. My lace pattern might not be perfect, but it’s definitely coming along. Excited to be working on this again and hopefully have it done by this fall.

I was 90% done with the second sleeve when I noticed I had knit the whole sleeve with my smaller “cuff” needles. So discouraged!! I might need to work on another project for awhile to get out of the funk. Otherwise, I really love the pattern and the color of the yarn.
