I’m using a different stitch for the front opening to make sure these sides do not “turn up”:

Slip-Stitch-Edge (SSE)
Worked over first and last 3 sts of all rows.
RS: Sl 1 wyif, k1, sl 1 wyif.
WS: K1, sl 1 wyif, k1.

When mostly done, I ripped it all out until row 30 and I am not knitting this as a sweater.

I picked this up again and have now almost finished the right sleeve. I followed pattern for decr, but with every 5th row a decr row:

• picked up 58 sts

• picked up & k 5 sts from CO

• pm

• picked up & k 6 sts from CO total of 69 sts

• decr r every 5th r

• last decr r is r70, 39 sts on ndl

• keep knitting

• yarn finished after finishing r86, continuing wit left sleeve
