…tweaked the pattern a bit to make the most of the yarn I had. finished size ended up 19” long and 30” wide. LOVE it!

use size 4 needle for bands 1 & 2; switch to size 3 at the beginning of band 3 and use for the duration.

band 1 - as written, except omit rounds 10-12 (so stripes are 13 rnds, not 16)
band 2 - 14 stripes total (A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, C, B)
band 3 - as written (remember to drop down a needle size)
band 4 - K1 rnd in A, then start lace; repeat rnds 1-6 only once
band 5 - as written for the first repeat; use color C instead of color A for the 2nd and 3rd repeats.
band 6 - as written. use Jeni’s surprisingly stretchy bindoff.

I didn’t do anything special to avoid the color jogs. They are really not noticeable - and make the knitting so much easier!
