sadly, I forgot to weigh my yarn before I started. my finished shawl weighs 205 grams and I have 41 g left of MC, 68 of C1 and 43 of C2. assuming I started with skeins of equal weight that’s 357 g (rounding to 360?) = 120 g per skein. I calculated my skeins used above based on a 120 g skein (for example, I had 41 g of MC left, so I used (120-41=) 79 grams = (79/120=) 65.8% = 276.4 yds)

7-6-12 - latest shop KAL. started last night, but only through first 3 repeats; now have just two more to go before adding C1 stripes!

7-14-12 - 2 more C1 stripes and I’m onto the short rows (whoa, folks were right, these last few stripe rows are LONG!)

7-26-12 - just started the C2 border…19 more rows to go and then I’m binding off. still thinking I might finish before the ravellenic games start. yep, crazy!

7-28-12 - yep, that was crazy thinking! I finished the bindoff (after 22 rows of C2) just after 8:30 pm on the 27th.
