1. no pockets
2. knit the body without ribbing; picked up stitches all around (320 for my size) and knit the ribbing after. (the piece doesn’t fall off my shoulders at all) only picked up 36 st (vs 50!?) around the arms and knit for 1-1/2” (not 3)

10-28-11 - done! finished the body on the 25th (5 full repeats), blocked on the 26th and then picked up stitches/knit 2x2 rib/wove in ends yesterday and a bit this morning. the yarn really pops the leaf details and that bit of alpaca makes it warm, but the shorter sleeves make it not too hot. wore to knitting today and LOVE. (not to mention that I got tons of compliments :-)

10-20-11 - through the 4th repeat…looks like I’ll need at least one more full repeat. still enjoying the cable chart!

10-6-11 - I started on monday (oct 3rd) and I’m now over halfway through the 2nd leaf repeat. following modifications posted here. so far, LOVE!
