7-22-11 - dried, buttons sewn on and worn (twice). LOVE everything about this sweater!! (except my poor self-photos…sorry!)

7-15-11 - blocking!! I LOVE how this turned out (at least pre-blocking!) - the size looks dead on, the lace ribbing is so pretty, and the crochet edging seems like it’s going to keep everything in shape. I finished the knitting per the pattern except that I knit til about 11.5 inches before starting the placket/bodice. I had over 50 g of yarn left - from 3 balls. so it would’ve been possible to use just 6 balls, but I would’ve had to split one at some point, I guess.

6-29-11 - I’ve been slack about keeping my in-process projects up-to-date! started this last friday and I just finished the waist decrease shaping. great pattern!

my gauge is 21 stitches/4 inches…so I’m knitting the smallest size and hoping it comes out not quite so small - I have a 33.5” bust.

short rows - wrapped stitches per carol’s knit row/purl row based on whether the stitch I was wrapping was a knit or a purl. picking up wraps, I left them alone on purl stitches (ie., didn’t pick them up and work with the stitch).

crochet edging - worked 2 sc/3 rows on vertical edges and 3 sc/4 st on horizontal edges. worked 1 sc/bound off stitch on the sleeve caps. button-holes were 7 chains long.
