started increases on 1st row. working K1, YO, M1L…M1R, YO, K1 on each row and using the YOs from the row before to do the M1s.

6-1-13 - done! well, except for the blocking….a little later and it’s blocking. delighted with the straight edge! 84”x13”

5-30-13 - halfway through the 10th stripe…the rows are super long! (note that stripe #9 used up more than half of a ball of panama - guess I won’t have any yarn to return!)

4-5-13 - finished the first 3 sections at today’s KAL. decided to cut the yarn so I don’t have the contrast colors going up the sides. also, the pattern wasn’t clear to me about how to get the stripes to be fat/thin and thin/fat… but it made sense to me that the CC stripe is fat at the beginning of the RS rows and the MC stripe is fat at the opposite end. and I have two garter ridges in each thin section.
