10-30-11 - finished and photographed! I omitted 2 rounds of the 2nd repeat (rnds 20&21) because I was afraid I’d run out of yarn - I can’t tell in the finished hat (and I really don’t know if the yarn I have left would’ve covered those extra 2 rounds - I guess that’s all good!!) I opted NOT to wetblock like the pattern suggests for this hat - it looks great like it is (but if I make it again, I definitely want to try to see how the shaping affects the finished hat.) in all VERY pleased and I hope to knit it again soon!

p.s. colors don’t seem to work for this yarn and my computer! the color really is a soft pink…
