112” x 50” x 70”, lightly blocked. almost all of this was knit in that chair shown above…while my dad was in the hospital. had mixed emotions about keeping the piece for myself, but now that he’s home and on the road to recovery, I’ve decided it’s a good reminder of the time…and the prayers that went into each stitch.

3-7-14 - done! worked 59 rows of the eggplant and finished with the picot bindoff.

3-5-14 - finally finished the turner. 175 stitches! also added about 2 more inches of solid eggplant. beginning to wonder when I’ll be done! :-)

2-28-14 - turner is almost gone. through 20 repeats (80 rows) of the houndstooth. started houndstooth at 99 stitches (no scale, so not sure how much turner was left).

2-4-14 - used 25 grams (1/3) of the turner; 69 stitches on the needles.

for shop KAL starting Jan 31, 2014. planning to start with the turner since I have less of it. that seems like the best way to use up both yarns. not planning to swatch, but know I like garter stitch with this yarn on size 6 needles.
