Notes

My idea is to knit a headband with a self folding band, in a combination of ribbing and fair isle.
My first attempt shows that my idea can be realized.
I started with a 130 needles wide self-folding band in 2:2 industrial ribbing and knitted 30 rows, SS 5. Then I transferred all working stitches from the backbed to the front bed and then I lowered the front bed to insert a cast on comb from between the frontbed and the ribbing and also hung in weights. Beds were closed again. Now Deco knitting, single bed fair isle with card 77, backbed GX, front bed BX, arrow to the left, knit 60 RC, SS 5. This closes the band.
To finish, knit one row N/N, then transfer all backbed stitches to the front bed and cast off.

The first example is not wide and not high enough, I have learned that the swatch of the fair isle (not that of the ribbing) must determine the measurements.
The cast off must be improved.
