Long story…

I originally started Calipso sweater but accidentally bought worsted yarn for the colorwork (the dk and worsted hanks were mixed together on the shelves at the yarn shop.) After I realized my mistake, I managed to find a fingering weight yarn that was perfectly matched to the main color dk I had to make a worsted weight and gave me the right gauge for the worsted version of this sweater. It was a different brand entirely and is merino which I think will help with the structure of the sweater.

So I got lucky twice - 1) there was a worsted version of the same pattern and I figured LC would prefer a heavier sweater, anyway and 2) I found the perfect matched color/weight yarn to hold together with the dk. Which also happens to improve the structure of the sweater.

I did swatch but I was lazy about recording any of the dimensions. I started this soooo long ago. Happy to have picked it back up. The sleeves should go quickly.

Can’t wait to block this. I hope the body length is good - may need to redo to add length depending on LC’s preference.

This was my first time using the Italian tubular bind off. I like it.
