1 strand sock yarn and 1 strand crochet cotton held together. A thicker wool yarn for the spine.

Added ears and nostrils. (french knots)

I didn’t like the knitted spine, and I hate seaming. So I crocheted a spine directly onto the dragon. Picots of various sizes.
