Second time making this pattern, even easier the second time around

Notes

• Alternate cable cast on
• Knit sleeves 2 at a time alternating 2 skeins per sleeve
• Did not bind off underarm stitches, I kept them live to Kitchener later
• Alternate 3 skeins for the body, alternate skeins 4 stitches in to hide the yarn change
• When attaching the saddle across the back, all stitches are joined using slip 1, k2tog PSSO instead of SSSK
• For back of the neck, I worked until row 3 and did not complete the cables for better join
• Kitchener stitch the back in pattern:

Set up (knit stitch facing): Insert needle into front stitch purl wise, insert needle into back stich knit wise

• All front stiches: insert needle into first stich knit wise and slip stitch off, insert needle into the second stich purl wise

• For back stitches if the 2nd stitch on the front needle was a purl stitch: insert needle into first stitch knit wise and into the second stitch purl wise

• For back stitches if the 2nd stitch on the front needle was a knit stitch: insert needle into first stitch purl wise and into the second stitch knit wise

• Added 2” depth and 1” width to each pocket
