I was inspired by feather and fan rather than knitting it literally. In addition to using this fun cashmere bundle I concluded there was an error in the pattern and looked up various feather and fan type patterns to create something similar instead.

I was asked by someone what exactly I had done. Here it is, on its Post-it.

Note I knit in the round. If you want to go back and forth, you have to invert the even rows. IE row 2 is a knit row, row 4 begins P2 tog, etc.

I think I started with a multiple of 17 stitches.
