The shrug’s the thing this year. I found this in a Rowan book but it turned out the pattern was available only online (annoying!)

It’s a child’s pattern, but the largest size is a 37” chest, which would fit some women. I knit it an inch or two longer but otherwise followed the pattern and as you can see it came out fine.

You could also size it up by using a heavier weight yarn. Much easier than trying to re-work the decreases for the raglan sleeves.
