Shawl is stretched out and blocking and is roughly measuring 25” wide by 77 “ long.

I worked 15.5 repeats (can’t be doing with asymmetry shudder) which took approx 6.5 balls in total - around 2.5 repeats from each ball.

I love the finished effect of this pattern, but it really is a marathon of 2X2 rib.

I found it helped to put a safety pin at the start of a right side row to help with row counts as it really is pretty much impossible to tell the right from the wrong side once you get going. Stitch markers at every 24 stitch repeat help things along too.

Quick summary of how the cables are worked - cast on multiple of 24 and work in2x2 rib. Then cable 12 forward on every 12th row and cable 12 back on every 24th row. It is that simple !
