The decreasing cables are very simple to work and make for a very pretty crown feature.

As other knitters have noted, the slouch in this design is extreme- its a very large hat. I may well give this another go in DK weight yarn for a more fitted look.

The yarn shed so much when I was working with it. However when I spray blocked this over a dinner plate it seems to have set everything in place which is a relief !
