The design is really simple and relaxing to knit- worked in the round with minimal increases.

I frogged my first attempt as the transition from knit to purl stitch was a bit loose, meaning the pleats were not as crisp as I wanted.

To neaten things up I used techknitters “slipping” technique - this involves slipping the final K stitch of each column with the yarn behind. On the next round the slipped float from the previous row is picked up pulled through the stitch of the needle - making the final k stitch of each round tighter.

I wet blocked the skirt then when it was dry I steam pressed the pleats in to place.
