I’ve been waiting for a great pattern to use up this beautiful speckled hand paint from Viola. The lace element of Lyrical Knits Elphabette was the perfect match for this ethereal colourway.

Kiddo is all about fitted waist length jumpers right now. Whilst this design is originally more geared to being a tunic, it works equally well as a short jumper. I reduced the stocking stitch section of the body to 8” before starting the lace section. If growing room is required I’ll add to the lace section further down the line.

The pattern is very well written and easy to follow, with the lace section adding interest to compliment the simple top down raglan design.
