For this test I wanted to use a cotton yarn for the warmer days ahead. This meant I needed to use a needle size smaller than recommended to get gauge. My unblocked swatch looked perfect, but the cotton grew on washing!

The pattern instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The charted section is easy to read (or follow the written instructions if you prefer).

I made the sleeves 1 “ shorter than suggested in the pattern, which has slightly reduced the yardage required. The finished garment has 10 buttons.

I love knitting Gabrielle’s designs, and kiddo loves wearing them so it is a winning combination (Kiddo loves it so much she wanted to keep it on to go to bed !)
