It took some time to be able to block this, but wow. The transformation is amazing !

First off, the yarn - on blocking the subtle tones and highlights really come out giving depth to the lace design.

The difference in length of the feathers is much more prominent when blocked - again giving the final shawl a perception of depth and movement.

I love the way that the main body beads form gentle radial swirls. This is the first beaded shawl I have knit using beads that contrast so greatly with the yarn - I’m very happy with the outcome and will try to be braver with my bead choices in the future !

My Picot cast of is improving with each Boo Knits, but I am still not able to get the lovely cute nupps that other knitters can achieve. Something for me to keep working on for sure.
