I used Biches and Buches Cashmere Lambswool which give a slightly finer gauge than fingering, so the size 1 is a perfect fit for my tween - and there is plenty of growing room.

I only used half of the second skein, working 3 complete chart repeats before moving to the ribbing. Kiddo doesn’t like lots of length in the body, but I may add a repeat as she grows.

The chart for this pattern is easy enough to follow but the transition from yolk to body wasn’t easy .

Such a cute design and great for the warmer months in the lightweight yarn.
