Working on 2.75mm needles to get gauge.

Wraps at the cuff are a little bit time consuming, but look really effective. Using my trusted tapestry needle as a mini cable needle to work these. I took care to wrap the yarn what I thought was slightly loose to the tension of the stitches, yet when knitted up the wraps are still on the snug side. Lesson - don’t pull on the yarn when wrapping the stitches or it will end up very tight.

Once the wraps are out of the way the rest of the pattern is very well charted and straightforward knitting.

Slight modification to carry the twisted rib down to the closure of the toe.

Yarn is a delight- very smooth and soft.

First sock complete using 41g.
