Notes

Which yarn did you use and approx how much yarn did you use?

Rowan Denim Lace “Harbor Fog” (MC) 147g/1176m
Rowan Denim Lace “Sand” (CC) 22g/176m

Did you work from the written or charted instructions for the lace?

Charted

Were you able to obtain gauge? which needle size did you use?

2. 75mm gave a pleasing fabric and I was easily able to block to gauge. If I had wanted to be more aggressive with blocking there was scope to make this even bigger and lacier !

Were the instructions clear, easy to follow?

Working from the lace chart I didn’t immediately notice the written instruction to work row 1 of the Shiri Lace pattern. I would prefer to see this row on the chart as it does appear in every repeat and is necessary for the chart to show the correct number of increases in the lace section.

Were there any errors in the pattern?
Measurements. Written measurements give the wrap as 56 cm wide and the schematic has 65cm

Approx how many hours did it take you to knit this project.
65- 70. Those last pattern repeats are long !

Were there any parts, instructions, charts, abbreviations in the pattern that were unclear?

Joining the triangles - possibly would help to highlight the position of the 3NBO on the schematic to help orientate the triangles against the diagram.

How difficult would you rate this project to knit, and why?

Adventurous beginner/Intermediate. The garter and lace panels are straightforward enough, but the construction requires a bit of attention - especially the three needle bind off and i-cord edging. These elements are an interesting challenge.
