AliciaPlum ‘s designs are just perfect. So simple to knit, yet stylish and well thought out.

I picked out a gorgeous cornflower blue shade of Sublime Luxurious Tweed, the simple design really allows a textured yarn to shine.

There were no problems with the yarn breaking or being fragile - but there was quite a lot of plant matter, which I could easily pick out as I went along. Before blocking the fabric was quite scratchy but after a good soak and a steam it is greatly improved.

No mods as such to the pattern - other than to work the neckline on 4.5mm/US 7 to keep it really wide and open as I wanted a really easy laid back slouchy feel for this sweater.
