Notes

I love this scarf pattern! It’s easy peasy and works up quick as a bunny. I started with a chain of 26 and used almost every speck of the two skeins of yarn. When finished, I gave it a good rinse, then spread it across my drying rack overnight and it is now 4” across and 72” long. I can wrap it around my scrawny neck twice and tie the ends into a loose bow (the scarf, not my neck :o)

I added a ruffle on each end, just to give it a bit of a change-up. The ruffle is made like this:

Edited: dc 3 times in each ch2 space and 1sc in the sc, all across the row. turn and ch4, then 1sc into the sc, ch4 and 1sc into the next sc, continue across and end off. I hope that helps, let me know if you have a question.

This scarf started out as yellow & white ombre but quickly decided it wanted to be blue, so I dyed with a box of Rit navy blue and I’m so happy with the colour.

  • The purple scarf started out as a blue/brown/white colourway from Bernat Handicrafter but morphed into the lovely shades of purpley mauve with a little sprinkling of dye :D
